Plan to Broadcast Easter Church Service by St Andrew’s Amarillo
The St Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Amarillo plans a radio Easter program on Wednesday night April 16. Parishioners with radios will listen from home and invite guests without receivers to join. Rector Rev Robert N MacCallum invites those with sets to allow others to listen. The program will extend to distant areas from New York to Los Angeles and San Francisco. J L Martin will arrange the broadcast with the choir aiming to bring the Easter service to those far from church facilities. The program includes Easter music, solo numbers, and a ten minute Easter message from the rector. Felice Stinnett directs and Gladys Gienn is organist.
