Burglars smashed a window at Zale Jewelry Company 727 Polk early this morning and took six men’s wrist watches valued at less than $200. Manager Joe Gartner said the burglars were probably scared away, as they did not take nearly all the items in the display. The window was broken on the Eighth Avenue facing corner.
