Brigantine Hotel Offer Shocks Local Taxpayers
Father Divine's group that bought Brigantine Hotel for 70000 has offered to sell it back to residents for 500000. City official John Lloyd Jr says the bid excludes furnishings and is not considered. The 11 story building built in 1927 once cost about 1 million and was renamed Model Evangelical Hotel.
