Rites Set for B T Johnson In Canyon

Funeral services for B T Johnson 81 a Canyon resident for over 50 years will be held at 3 pm Thursday at the First Baptist Church Canyon with Rev Roy Johnson officiating. Johnson helped in the West Texas State College movement and is survived by his daughter Mrs A B Kenyon of Amarillo and other relatives including Mrs J Compton of Clovis and sons T P Johnson of Sweetwater and Walter C Johnson of Dallas along with ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

G O Gall, a well known railroad man, died suddenly this afternoon at his home on Lincoln Street after a period of ill health. He once worked as a wholesale clerk for the Santa Fe. The body lies at Griggs Chapel.
