Staff Sergeant Don J. Williams son of Mr and Mrs J R Williams 204 Florida Street Amarillo has been listed as killed in action in the European theater. He had been reported Missing in Action since March with first notice received March 15. He worked for Shaw Graves Cleaners and served as a radio technician in the air corps after attending Scott Field Illinois. He had been in service since September 1941 and was in England for six months.

German radio says four motor US planes bombed Antwerp as heavy fighting rages along the French coast. Delay Arraignment in Bernice Williams Murder Case
