Two Amarillo Men Die In Car Crash Near Fritch
Two Amarillo men died when their automobile overturned and burned near Fritch along the Oil Field Highway. Wiley Carrol Shoemaker, 39, formerly of 2432 West Tenth, and William Wayford White, 41, whose address was the Main Hotel, were killed. Mona Lou McCarver, 19, of 2011 North Arthur, escaped serious injuries. She was treated at North Plains Hospital in Borger. Servants pulled the victims from the wreckage. Blackbun-Shawn Funeral Home to handle arrangements for Shoemaker, with burial planned in Tucumcari. Efforts to notify Mrs May White of Clarksville, Tex. Shoemaker born Oct 23, 1911 in Grapeland, Texas. survived by father Oscar Shoemaker of Tucumcari, three sisters and a brother. Funeral services pending through Dunn Funeral Home, Tucumcari.

The site will house paymaster, office manager, operations engineer, and other Webb staff as framing on barracks is delayed. Framing expected in 20 to 30 days. At Pantex AEC, Walton Fulton and Payne started an office building after planning talks with Silas Mason Company. site engineers have staked the major job and work began today.
