Hitchcock of Amarillo, long time general manager of the Western Lines and Panhandle and Santa Fe Railway interests, is named general manager of the coast lines of the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railway in Los Angeles. He fills the post left by W. K. Eiter, now vice president in charge of operations with Chicago HQ. H. B. Lautz of La Junta, Colo., will succeed Hitchcock in the northern district.
