Woman Dies in Muleshoe Crash
PLAINVIEW Sept 25 A collision at crossroads northwest of Muleshoe Tuesday night killed Mrs. Harry E. Musson 69 and left her husband with critical injuries. The Mussons were thrown from their car at the intersection five miles north and four miles west of Muleshoe, as it collided with a vehicle driven by Robert Runzell of Farwell. Runzell and a second occupant were uninjured. both Mussons were taken to a Muleshoe hospital where she died on arrival.

Floyd County tenant farmer Queen 52 was charged with murder after his son in law C O Patton 30 of Matador died from three pistol shots near the Queen home four miles east of Floydada. Examining trial set at Floy dada District Attorney Richard E Stovall said no weapon was found and no witnesses were present. The killing, attributed to long standing family troubles, occurred Tuesday night in a field about 50 yards from the Queen residence.
