Weaver Baker Dies in Wreck
Weaver H. Baker 52, longtime chairman of the State Board of Control, died when the station wagon he drove failed to negotiate a curve and overturned near Burnet on the way to Austin. Investigators found no collision evidence. Baker died at Brackenridge hospital. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, and his Junction, Texas family.
