Plane Race to Iron Lung for Hart Boy in Beaumont
A privately chartered plane raced to Beaumont to fetch eight year old Hart child from Jackson Mississippi for treatment in the Iron Lung at a local hospital. The boy is the third patient to receive the machine in recent weeks. His father works for Sunray Oil Company and was in Jackson when illness struck.
