Texas Motor Bus Rates To Drop About Eighteen Percent

Mordyan No. 1 extends Lefors area with strong oil flow
The Mordyan Oil and Gas M B Davis No 1 well in Gray county extends Lefors area east by a mile. It produced 750 barrels from midnight Thursday to 7 am Friday at 42 degree gravity from a granite wash pay at 2 833 feet. Initial rate 100 barrels per hour, swabbing in progress, five million feet of gas killed off. The well compares favorably with Lefors Shaw No 2 and is the best new producer in Gray county since the first Lefors discovery.

Truck Driver Killed in Crossing Accident Near Hagerman
Special to The News Roswell N M Sept 21 Dennis Lattion fatally struck when a southbound Santa Fe passenger train hit his truck one mile north of Hagerman. The truck was demolished and Lattion, a Hagerman area farmer with a wife and five children, was instantly killed.
