Pranksters Cause Wreck West of Clarendon
An Amarillo man and two passengers were in a wreck caused by pranksters flashing a bright light from a parked car on the wrong side of the highway twelve miles west of Clarendon. A. A. Kimbrow, injured, was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital with a non serious double collar bone fracture. The other occupants fled. Kimbrow continued to Amarillo for treatment.

Duncan Thomas Dies in Duke Burial in Oklahoma Cemetery
Thomas Duncan died in hospital and will be buried in Russell Oklahoma. Born November 29, 1914, in Duke, he was a Baptist Church member and Woodmen of the World. Survivors include his wife, two sons Harrill Eugene and Jerry Lynn, his mother Saddie Duncan of Duke, and a brother also of Duke.

Auto Overturns Injuring Two Near Palisades
Two people were injured when a car left a sharp turn outside Palisades, 12 miles southeast of Amarillo, struck an embankment and overturned. J D P driving the car and Miss Mary Inkster were taken to Northwest Texas Hospital. Miss Inkster suffered a possible broken shoulder and facial and leg cuts. Palisades resident J H Bartlett arrived first, found both unconscious, and summoned an ambulance. The victims could not recall the incident, which occurred during a Hub Clothing Company outing.
