Man Threatens Bus Fire With Gasoline Bottle
A young man boarding the Morningside Fillmore bus yesterday carried a gasoline bottle for cleaning fluids. He lit a cigarette, dropped the bottle, and flames erupted along the aisle. Eighteen passengers fled. driver Leon Leard extinguished the blaze with a fire extinguisher. No injuries reported. The man reportedly said he might quit his job after the incident.

Congressman Eugene Worley led a push to move Joe Sanchez a five year old polio victim in an iron lung at Northwest Texas Hospital to an infantile paralysis treatment center.
