In Georgia 4000 militiamen were mustered while 2000 national guardsmen stood by in the Carolinas for action tomorrow as the strike entered its third week. Labor leaders rejected a NRA hearings proposal and demanded Hugh S Johnson resign. Francis J. Gorman declared the strike would not be swayed and rejected the manufacturers plan.
