Survivors include a brother and grandparents.

An unidentified Richmond woman asked police to locate her missing false teeth after she said her husband hid them while she threatened to leave him. Captain John Rizio decided the case did not warrant pursuit once he learned the teeth were hidden by the husband.
In Skellytown near Amarillo a 19 year old Pampa girl, Anne Owen, died from injuries after her 1950 convertible swerved into a heavy oilfield truck on Highway 152. The driver of the truck, Tom Carver, was treated for minor injuries. Funeral services are pending in Pampa for the victim, a Panhandle A&M student and Lane Wells draftsman. A second obituary notes C C Stewart, a 70 year old farmer, died in Amarillo. services planned at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with burial in Llano Cemetery. Survivors listed for both.

Pfc Cecil R Floyd of Turkey graduated from a refresher course by the 45th Infantry Division in Korea. The training emphasized combat tactics infantry leadership and use of weapons. Floyd, an assistant squad leader with the 180th Infantry Regiment, entered the Army in May 1947.
Harry Urban Sr former policy racket operator was sentenced in Dallas to two years in prison and a $5,000 fine for income tax evasion. He was ordered to repay about 57.00 for 1949 with a larger claim for 1947 and 1948 taxes totaling 43,000. The government has seized the Urban home two Cadillacs and a garden hose valued at 1.50. The state conviction on the policy racket charge was reversed on appeal.
