Aerial Search Expands for Moyle and Allen
An aerial search for Don Moyle and C A Allen, missing Japan Seattle fliers, began as Clayton Scott and 19 year old mechanic Roy Finch departed the Barnes hangar for Albert Bay B C. They traveled 350 miles north eight days after Moyle and Allen left Samashiro Beach, six days after the California aviators were due. Young man dies after train boarding accident near Pampa
Boss Rider a 25 year old from Allison 50 miles east of Pampa died in a local hospital at 10 last night from injuries suffered when he attempted to board a Fort Worth and Denver train at First Avenue and Harrison Street at 6:30. He lost both legs and suffered a mangled right hand. Rider said he was job hunting and didn’t know the ropes. An ambulance took him to the hospital. He has a sister in Allison. no word on her last night.
