Passenger train goes in ditch near Tasco
Amarillo fireman John Ross and Arch Ward of Childress were injured as Fort Worth and Denver passenger train No 8 plunged through a bridge two miles south of Tasco due to a washout and high water. The engine and mail car fell the bridge. passengers spent the night on the wrecked train as crews sent to the scene faced difficult conditions.
