In Ranier Oregon a 15 month old boy Ronald Mysinger fell feet first into a 12 foot deep dry abandoned well under his home. Rescuers heard him cry as volunteers dug with hands for three hours pulling him from the hole exhausted but unharmed. Dr. M A Kenny examined him and his mother Mrs W M Mysinger welcomed the return. A bucket kept earth from showering the child’s face during the careful rescue.
