Train hits car injuring eleven near Floyd Texas

Two soldiers and a woman were killed in a head-on crash between a street car and an automobile returning to Scott Field south of Belleville Illinois. Seven Arraigned At Abilene On Liquor Charges

Prairie blaze devastates 10 mile area near Spade pasture
Special to The News at Littlefield Texas reports a major prairie fire on Thursday when fire guards were set to burn the Spade pasture north of the railway. A strong south wind pushed flames about 10 miles from switch to Spade Ranch HQ, threatening houses on both sides. About 100 men fought the fire for hours, with heavy grass losses noted as the season ends, though the fire remained within the Spade pasture owned by W. L. Ellwood.

Dozen Injured in Dallas Terminal Train Wrecks
In Dallas at the union terminal switching yards more than a dozen people were injured in two separate train wrecks.
