DETROIT September 6. A red biplane plunged into Lake Erie about a half mile off Point Pelee on the Canadian shore. The wreckage was found in 15 feet of water. A Pelee Park life saving crew member witnessed the crash and aided by a Kingsville tug searchers located the plane. The observer estimated three people aboard and no identifying numbers were recovered.
