Marines claim 25 enemy dead by noon near Qui Nhon as news also reports Hurricane Betsy stalled in the Atlantic with no land threat and rough seas spoiling Labor Day beach plans.
Holiday weekend drew thousands to Lake Meredith Buffalo Lake and Palo Duro Canyon State Park. About 5 000 attended Bay Ranch Arena performances and 4 000 visited each lake.
