Army Second Engineers to Move Through Amarillo Sunday
An entire regiment of the Second Engineers from Fort Logan Colorado will pass Amarillo Sunday at 10 a.m. in a motor convoy en route to Camp Bullis for peace time maneuvers. The 350 men travel in 65 trucks motorcycles and supply cars with Amarillo police escort. They stay overnight at Dalhart travel to Lubbock and San Angelo before reaching Fredericksburg and Camp Bullis. Col. Richard Moore commands the unit which includes Panhandle men home for the first time in years.

Wichita Falls Man Is Arrested Here
Jim Duncan, held on a $1,000 appeal bond for a theft sentence, was arrested in Amarillo by police and will be returned to Wichita Falls by Sheriff Pat Allen. Duncan had a five year theft term and served a year in Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary before allegedly failing to return, causing bond forfeiture. Sheriff Allen arrived with J. E. Stark, railroad special officer, to escort Duncan.
