TWO WOMEN DIE IN PLANE CRASH AT MISQUAMICUT
At Misquamicut flying field a plane crash killed two women, Mrs. Marie A. Hunter and Miss Marie West, both about 30, and severely burned pilot Arthur Manning of Hartford, Conn. Manning's motor failed after takeoff, he attempted a landing, lost lift, the craft struck a wing, and flames engulfed the seat occupants as he could not reach them.

Liberal Youth Drowned in Meade Lake
John Irwin aged 22 eldest son of Mr and Mrs E 8 Irwin of Liberal Kan drowned in Meade State Lake Sunday night about 9 oclock while boating with a young woman. He dived to retrieve an oar and sank his body not yet recovered as volunteers and the Liberal fire department drag the lake. He would have graduated from the law department of Kansas University this year.

Ships collide in bay sink Dorothy two crew lost

Murder Charge After Amarillo Fight Ends In Death
Randall county authorities filed murder charges yesterday against J M Hughes tied to a fatal blow during a drunken melee outside Amarillo. Samuel T Hutton, 50, died from a broken nose and neck at the scene near a small alleyfront house where a dice game led to a fight. Five other men faced $600 bonds after being charged with fighting and gaming. Hughes, once a Floydada telegraph operator, is believed to be held as a witness in Canyon. An examining trial was expected to be held today.
