Park Tickets On Sale For Air Derby At Municipal
Reserved parking tickets for the air derby at the Municipal Airport on September 7 and 8 are on sale at the Tri State Fair offices 810 Polk Street announced by Wilburn Hawk president of the Fale association in charge of packing and concessions. Tickets cost 25 and 50 cents with 60 cents per car for reserved spaces between the south fence of the airport and the highway east of the hangar. Events will be conducted in front of this space in full view of car occupants. A 25 cent space is opposite the main field south of the highway between road and the Santa Fe right of way. Both spaces will be policed by Amarillo fire department with 60 members. Free parking for 2 500 autos is provided around the southwest corner of the field north of the highway.

Plainview Man Found Dead After Whirlwind
J M Lovelady was found dead in his wagon in Plainview Texas after a small whirlwind. Justice of the peace J P Silers ruled death from injuries caused by a short piece of scantling blown through the air. Residents reported Lovelady passed through an alley in his wagon during the storm.
