KUNMING China May 28 Lance Corporal Fernand Cron of the French colonial infantry recounted escaping a mass grave with 53 comrades at Dongdang on the French Indo China border. He showed a four and a half inch scar on the back of his neck from a saber strike and said he and two Annamites crawled from the trench.
