Total alleged loss is 33600 dollars. Bond set at 2000 dollars per case.
KGNC TV will air a 9 30 a m address by President Eisenhower to a Washington meeting of the National Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters. The speech is scheduled for today.
A man posing as a police detective swindled Salt Lake City widow Mrs. Simon Rosenblatt of 9000 dollars by claiming her son Bernard had been kidnapped and demanding ten thousand dollars. He appeared at her home with a badge and gun, took five thousand, then vanished. Police alerted after her son learned of the crime. The suspect is described as about 45, handsome, six feet, wearing glasses, a dark suit and tie.
