Sidney M. McKinney, owner of White Front Package Store at 1002 E. 10th, said a gunman and an accomplice startled him after closing at 10 p.m. Wednesday and fled with about $800 to $900. McKinney fired a shot, missing, which lodged in a building across the drive. he lives at 1007 Garfield. The robbers wore a wide-brimmed hat and escaped through a back gate.
