James N. Mann founder of Mann Bakery in Amarillo died at his home on Crockett Street aged 72 after a long illness. He started the first Memphis Texas bakery in 1908 and expanding to 28 delivery routes with 74 employees in the Panhandle. Survived by wife Mattie two children Neal Brownie Marin and Jamie Mann and a brother Ed Mann. Final rites set for Thursday at Blackburn Shaw Chapel with Rev Garner Odell officiating Llano Cemetery burial.
