New York Times reports police identify a five or six person gang tied to the Lindbergh infant kidnapping and murder. Arrests expected soon as investigators pursue leads from Dr. Condon and Morris Rosner. The group allegedly included Americans and foreigners. the child died during the ransom plot, with the trail leading to a Bronx cemetery exchange and a suspect named John or Doc within the broader network.
The School Board spent almost seven hours Saturday reviewing a planned $500 000 operation budget for next year and voted to cut 25 or 26 teachers while weighing salary reductions. They exempted a $900 annual salary and discussed reducing staff, programs, and summer school. The board also urged revising the budget to have supervisors teach part time to free teachers.

W A Clark ITI aged 30 and Jack Lynch from Los Angeles died when their aircraft crashed in foothills north of Clemenceau Arizona. Clark was grandson of the late Senator Clark of Montana and was a major stockholder in United Verde Copper Company.
