Dr Samuel Parker Brooks 67 longtime Baylor University president died at Central Texas Baptist Sanitarium after cancer battle. Survived by Mrs Brooks and two children Sims P Brooks and Aurelia Brooks. former Governor Pat M Neff was at his bedside. Neff, a friend of 40 years, kept vigil as Brooks signed diplomas recently before death. Funeral at Waco Hall planned with Dr J M Dawson and Dr George W Truett officiating.
