A $3 million 170 acre parcel south of Puckett Place between Bell and Coulter streets will become a new Amarillo neighborhood with about 600 brick single family homes priced from 40000 to 65000. Six builders led by Bill Simpson plan immediate construction, annexation to the city, and underground utility lines while assuring access to Amarillo Independent School District for area children. The project aims for homes near completion in six to eight months as survey work begins.
