A two tier shopping square and parks will link stores offices and hotels. Financing comes from government loans repaid by rent.
In Houston, Harold E. Northway, 91, says friends will not visit his family after four men were exposed to radioactive iridium-192 pellets at Kellogg Co. He fears selling his home due to possible radioactivity. Kellogg officials say workers were laid off for economic reasons and that the accident was the fault of management.

Three airmen from Amarillo Air Force Base face burglary charges after motors valued at about 1000 dollars were stolen from Jay's Service Station and recovered with the trio. Arrested are Thomas Grounds 20 of BreckenridgeRobert Noyes 19 of Massachusetts and Jimmy Lanman 21 of Lawton Oklahoma. Authorities traced the crime to a Claude night watchman report and linked the car to Grounds on base records. The suspects admitted the break ins to officers on Friday.
A low flying Navy bomber severed two power cables spanning a canyon cutting electricity from San Francisco to San Jose. About 1,160,000 people lost service from TV stations to refrigerators as Navy Lt. J.G. Harry M. Nyhe reported the incident.
