The body of Mrs. Havel Williams a mobile tourist from Los Angeles California was found at the Williams public camp grounds by her husband. The body showed hatchet mutilation and was discovered after the husband left to town for supplies with their five year old son present.

The $165 million public buildings bill moved closer to swift approval after compromise amendments strip Mellon of blanket power to spend $100 million for new structures outside the District of Columbia. Congress must approve treasury building plans before contracts can be entered.
