Dalhart Texas May 2 Judge F Atkinson 75 former Indian fighter and pioneer cattleman died Sunday at his home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p m from the Baptist church with the Masonic brotherhood in charge. Thirteen grown children survive all residents of the Panhandle. He moved here from Hartley county about 10 years ago and had been in the real estate business. He spent four decades on the Plains and earlier in life fought Indians in Jack county and was near finishing a manuscript about the trouble with the Indians.

Texarkana May 2 Will Williams former justice of peace of Beach township Miller county was arraigned before Municipal Court Judge Louis Josephs on two counts of violation of liquor laws. He was arrested Saturday afternoon by Sheriff Fleet Magee at his home four miles south of Fouke and is held on charges of possession for sale and for manufacturing intoxicating liquor.
