Prisoner Is Recaptured in Oklahoma Escape
James EK Hoskins, one of two Negro inmates who fled Hall County jail last Wednesday, was recaptured this afternoon in Valliant Oklahoma near the Red River. Edgar Simpson remains at large as authorities seek leads from Hoskins. Hoskins, visiting a girlfriend, was arrested by McCurtain County deputies and jailed in Idabel. Bill Baten plans to transport Hoskins back to Memphis, expected Tuesday or Wednesday.
