Woman slain in auto at Love Field Dallas
Mrs. Ethel Dorothy Jones aged 28 was shot and killed while sitting in her automobile at Love Field. Companions W A Schaffer and Ben Music rushed her to a hospital where she died. Schaffer said the fatal shot was fired accidentally as he stood beside the car.

Tornadoes Strike Three States Leaving Town in Ruins
Six people killed and many injured as a tornado hit Tekamah Nebraska and swept to Pender Homer Jackson Winnebago Bancroft and Walthill.
