John Bodo, 28, a University of New Mexico instructor, was found dead in the Sandias after an overnight search 25 miles east of Albuquerque. Authorities say exposure caused his death after he separated from a hiking party and missed a meeting point.

St Louis March 30 Miss Myrtle Wilkinson 35 drowned 8 year old Marilyn Morgan in a bathtub then attempted suicide with gas. She told officers the child’s mother Helent Morgan had taken Marilyn from her and forbade visits.
LORETTO Pa March 30 Mrs Pauline Farnbaugh Schwab mother of steel magnate Charles M Schwab died at her home aged 93. She passed away a day after her birthday leaving a prominent industrial family.
Bruno Hauptmann remains stoic as reports surface of possible talks with his wife and Governor Hoffman. Attorney Fisher notes Hauptmann may communicate through his wife while officials deny new clemency discussions. Prosecution chief Hauck says Mrs Hauptmann suggested.interactions may occur if Hauptmann has something important to reveal.
In Trenton on March 30 Bruno Richard Hauptmann learned the Pardons Court denied his second clemency plea. His lawyer C Lloyd Fisher said Hauptmann kept his chin up and still has hope. Fisher noted Hauptmann did not flinch during a half hour visit and spoke of telling his wife Anna before heading to her hotel. He suggested a possible new-trial move to Supreme Court Justice Trenchard, but doubted its likelihood.
