In Dublin the 17th Irish Hospital Sweepstakes draw sent about $1.12 million to American participants. Tonight 325 Americans and relatives gained roughly $3,600 each from today’s drum pull, with many holding tickets on five Grand National favorites for Friday’s race at Aintree.
Henry Ford denounces crop curtailment as violation of natural laws and security of plenty. He cites a Cherry Hill plantation program linking agriculture to industry and argues idle land wastes resources and risks war. He blames a small group he calls public enemies for war control.
Federal Judge John P. Barnes refused to issue a temporary injunction preventing the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks from representing a qualified class of Santa Fe Railroad em ployees in bargaining. The injunction sought by the clerical employes association, a non AFL unit, follows an election order by the national mediation board in 1934. Attorney James E. Smith of Topeka said he would appeal to the United States Circuit Court of Appeals.
Adolf Hitler denounced the Locarno program and warned Europe that German strength will not be trusted as a constant in international affairs. In a 20,000 strong Deutschlandhalle crowd he urged opponents to vote on policies of equality and pledge a remilitarization of the Rhineland. The Reichstag vote looms as a plebiscite on his platform and peace base.
Oklahoma City aviators Lewis F. Green and Burrell Tibbs announced a round trip transatlantic flight this summer to memorialize Will Rogers and Wiley Post. The plan covers 41 cities in 38 nations over North and South Atlantic in about 56 days using a Lockheed Vega with strong financial backing. They aim to start in July from an unspecified airport with weather permitting.
In Miami on March 24, President Roosevelt fished near Cat Island in the Bahamas and said he caught enough for supper. He sails toward Great Inagua Island and will reboard the Potomac with Roosevelt and companions for the rest of the cruise at Mathewtown tomorrow.

Special to The News Canadian report states Henry C. Harvey a 45 year old U S Airways mechanic from Amarillo was found dead in a smoke filled tourist camp cabin with a small Mexican dog at his side. The mattress and bedding smoldered and both likely died of suffocation. Harvey formerly served as an engineer in the U S Navy and supervised servicing airways beacons emergency landing field gear and power plants in the Plains region. He worked under L C Elliott.
The House military committee voted unanimously to report favorably the bill by Chairman McSwain to create an air reserve training corps. Men 17 to 24 with high school education would train at flying schools or colleges, with top cadets receiving actual flight training chosen by the secretary of war.

A Mexican court released two police officers accused in the November 19 1934 killing of Francis Ahearn, a 19 year old Boston University student. Both officers denied shooting him in the back after a fight with a hotel owner, saying the decision aimed to avoid convicting an innocent man.
Oklahoma City approves oil drilling extension in a special election. North of the capitol and southeast tracts opened. unofficial precinct totals show strong support and a victory margin. Governor Marland vows to protect state oil rights and not pursue martial law.
The 60 year old nurseryman J M Wright was found dead in a pine grove two miles south of Longview. Police suspect robbery as the motive after noting Wright often carried 200 to 300 dollars. He was due to pay nursery workers today and an freshly cleaned press was found on his doorstep as the incident unfolded.
R E Clements the second in command of the Townsend old age pension group resigned today citing differences with Dr F E Townsend over fundamental policies of the organization and methods to push the Townsend plan into law.
Buck Janaway, 41, a former Texas convict, was found guilty of murder by a district court jury in Idabel Oklahoma for the fatal shooting of Walter Peewee Moore, a parole violator from Tucker prison farm Arkansas. The jury recommended a 99 year sentence.
Official communique reports ten Italian planes dropped over 100 bombs today on Jijiga. Ten people are believed killed or wounded. This marks the town's third bombing in recent days.

A jury was completed in New York today to try Vera Stretz for the murder of her lover Dr. Pritz Gebhardt a wealthy German industrialist. Stretz wept during the examination as she faced the charge.

Tommy Touhy, last of his criminal clan, received a 23 year term for mail robbery in Minneapolis. Federal Judge Gunnar H. Nordbye imposed 10 consecutive sentences on him and eight others who looted $78,000 on January 3, 1933. Touhy, once feared as "Terrible Tommy," is now a wheelchair invalid.
The viscera of 12 year old Dorothy Lou McCasland were sent to Dallas for a chemical examination to detect poison after her body was exhumed from Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hopkins County.
Destructive winds and hail across Tyler Longview Kilgore and surrounding oil fields cause nearly 150000 in damage.
