Moody on Program Today at Texas Southwestern Cattle Meet

Cattlemen of Texas conclude the fifty second annual Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers convention at Mission theater after a day of cooperative marketing talks. Governor Dan Moody will address the session which begins at 9 30 a m and officers will be elected and the next meeting place chosen. C B Denman of East St Louis headlined the second day.

Hereford Sale Planned for Tri-State Fair and Reunion

The Panhandle Breeders association will stage a large auction of registered Herefords at the Tri-State fair this fall. At the recent annual meeting sufficient cattle were pledged to make the sale the best ever held in Amarillo. New president C. O. Keiser emphasized the fair’s value to the Panhandle and Amarillo, with plans for a summer reunion, barbecue, and a spring sale at the Panhandle Livestock association's convention.

Bus line permits issued for 12 new routes

The Texas Railroad Commission issued permits for 12 new bus lines on Wednesday. The intercity routes include Amarillo to Denver and Lubbock to Levelland, with various interstate connections and paired city lines across Texas, Oklahoma, and nearby states.

Abilene Man Plans Headstand On Eight-Story Building
