Will R. Autridge, 27, died after a Dallas bound Fort Worth and Denver passenger train struck his car at the Manhattan Street crossing. He was injured at 9:10 AM yesterday and died at 9 PM in St. Anthony's Hospital, the third traffic fatality in Amarillo in 1954. Witnesses said Autridge failed to see the oncoming train as he attempted to cross the tracks.
