Postal Receipts Show Big Gain Over Last March
Amarillo post office receipts for the first 15 days of March show a substantial gain over earlier months and exceed last March's total by more than $1,000. Through March 15 this year receipts reached $17,598.16 while March last year totaled $16,199.13. Stamp receipts up to March 15 were $13,652.61, with a $6,008.94 year over year increase in March totals. A mid month report shows 101 pay checks issued to employees by C. M. Tyler.
