Tot Critically Hurt by Truck in West Sixteenth Accident
Stewart Baldwin 2 year old son of Mrs Helen M Baldwin of 713 West Sixteenth was in critical condition at Northwest Texas Hospital after a Pinkney Packing Co truck struck him as he crossed Sixteenth near the Coronado Bookstore. The driver Reuben L Borge 47 said the boy appeared in his path around 7 30 p m. The truck skidded about 60 feet and the child was taken to the hospital by a passing motorist. Police continued investigation and said the driver was not in custody.
