Dr J W Hunt founder and president of McMurry College died at his home in Abilene on March 12. He was a noted Texas Methodist leader and former cowboy editor and circuit rider. Funeral set for Tuesday at 4 PM from St Paul Methodist Church with in state viewing from 10 AM. He is survived by his wife Mrs Hunt three sons and two daughters and several siblings. Hunt was born July 9 1875 on the Kaw Reservation Indian Territory.
