Thompson remains critical. if he dies, murder charges will be filed. The shooting was witnessed by four men.

Potter county grand jury indicts fifteen in embezzlement cases
The Potter County grand jury returned fifteen indictments at noon, most for embezzlement. One ruling charged Speck Barton with robbery with firearms in the hijacking of C. O. Mowdy last Friday night. Mowdy reported Barton and another man seized $30, bound him in his car, and fled after he cried for help. Barton was arrested the next morning.

Quanah Texas March 12 Frank Beavers stage line operator between Quanah and Paducah died from a brain hemorrhage after a fist blow from a stranger during a fight with L. O. Page at the railway station. Beavers fell unconscious after the strike and later died in hospital. the 20 year old assailant fled the scene.

Three Charged With Store Burglary In Local Raid
Police filed burglary charges late yesterday against George Gray Marvin Manning and Melvin Gray for allegedly breaking into a local grocery store Tuesday night. All three were moved to county jail.
