Ted Andrews 63 longtime Hale County Sheriff died at Plainview Hospital after a two week illness from heart disease. He served 17 years and three months as sheriff and led the Hale County Posse. Survivors include his wife Ora Cross a son in Los Angeles a daughter in Oklahoma City a brother a sister and seven grandchildren.
