British Admiralty reports confirm the Bay of Biscay sunken ship was the Spanish Mar Cantabrico. Fight on Gas Tax Increase Fails
In Austin on March 8 the House opponents of a pension liberalization bill failed in several attempts to kill it though they were short by one vote at times. The bill would likely double pension costs and included large tax hikes on natural gas and carbon black.
