City Bonds of 461000 Sold in Amarillo Deal
Amarillo city announced the sale of 461000 in bonds at 83.46 cents on the dollar. The contract dated February 10 is with G M Dunne and Associates of Wichita Kansas. The issue includes 864000 in new bonds and 403000 in refunding bonds. Purchasers pay 4 percent interest, with the rest of the issue unsold. City also bought 75000 Fisher County bonds at par from its sinking fund. The deal, negotiated by the city commission and Dallas attorney John D McCall, places the bonds at under six percent to buyers. Cash payments to the city come in biweekly installments totaling 185000 to date.

Two Pilots Die in Training Flight Crash
