Vietnamese Forces Hit Central Highlands Fight

North Vietnamese launched repeated attacks in the central highlands near Kontum as U S forces repelled an 11 hour battle. Soviets Detail Border Clash With China

The Soviet Foreign Ministry reported 330 Chinese soldiers attacked along the Manchurian border. 31 Soviet troops were killed and 14 wounded.
