Top of Texas Opens With Fat Barrows Judging

More than 180 fat barrows enter for judging as the 14th annual Top of Texas Stock Show and Hereford Breeders’ Show opens in Pampa. The event runs Monday through Wednesday with 250 junior livestock entries and 50 registered cattle. Judging begins 9 a.m. Monday, calf judging at 1 30 p.m. and a junior exhibitors banquet at 6 p.m. FFA judging starts 9 30 a.m. Tuesday with 50 teams.

Missing Bride Irene Arzedi Returns After Eight Day Flight

Irene Arzedi, 29, vanished hours before her February 22 wedding to Joseph Pinto, 31, and traveled cross country by bus. She arrived home in Brooklyn shaken but unharmed as thousands gathered, her mother Italian speaking, and the fiancé awaiting. Police and relatives had feared foul play during the eight day search.
