Postal Receipts Show Big February Gain in Amarillo
Postal receipts at the Amarillo office totaled 365 866 74 for February, up from 24 946 46 in 1926, an increase of 11 621 89 or about 47 percent. Receipts averaged over 1 260 daily as work continues on the Federal building addition with steel framing erected and construction progressing, including a south entrance on Seventh Street.
